Probably the only motorcycle in India that's spent as much time on city roads as it has on the race tracks down south, the Yamaha R15 most definitely brought to its discerning customers a very new and exciting dimension to biking.
While the technical prowess of the 149.8 cc Liquid-cooled 4-stroke remains quite the same (17 PS @ 8,500 RPM & 15 Nm of torque @ 7,500 RPM) the build characteristics on the new R15 receive very sporty upgrades like an all new split seat LED Tail Light, aluminum Swingarm, and very importantly a wider rear wheel now as thick as 17 inches (130/70-R17). The front configuration stands at 90/80-17.....
